Could You Imagine Yourself in This Photo?
Darlings,
I love collisions, explosions, and eruptions of ecstasy that change a person’s destiny.
And The School of Womanly Arts Mastery Program creates countless moments of these moments.
In this photograph you are actually witnessing a woman in real time, in the Radical Act of Pleasure that changed her life.
Can you feel the fun?
The courage?
The conspiracy on her behalf?
This exercise occurs in Weekend Four, and it teaches a woman the art of going from agony to ecstasy, in a microsecond.
It is called the “yes” exercise.
And it is just one of dozens of Tools and Arts that each woman learns in Mastery that allow her the freedom to change the course of her life to a direction she determines and desires.
Not a shabby tool to have in your back pocket, in this day, and this age, huh?
Listen in on this latest installment of our Radio Portrait series, to hear Sister Goddess Mary Virginia describe her radical act of pleasure, in her own words…
Join me in celebrating Mary Virginia in the comments below by telling us what her Radical Act of Pleasure inspires in you.
Are you wanting to commit to your own Radical Act of Pleasure? Join us LIVE in NYC on February 9th for our latest Intro course, The Radical Step That Changes Everything. Seats are filling up fast, so if you’re interested, click here for more details or to enroll online today.
With so much love and pleasure,

I’ll Give You Mine, If You Give Me Yours
Darlings,
It’s Thanksgiving.
I will show you mine, if you show me yours.
I will give you my top gratitudes, but you gotta give it right back to me–and reply to this blog.
We got a deal?
Good.
This is what I am grateful for:
1. My kid. My mom. And my crazy-amazing team at the Pleasure Palace.
2. Having just come back from the best Miami Worldwide Sister Goddess Reunion of my life, where I got to read brags like this:
I brag that I came to Miami only knowing one SG there (and SG Storm Lauren via phone/email) and left being introduced to more SGs than I have fingers and toes to count!! I wish I could remember everyone’s name, because I would give you ALL a “shout out” here for making this virgin feel welcome.
I brag that Saturday during the Unbound Olympics, I did things I would never have dared before:
> first time food experiences - calamari (at Nexxt) and sushi (at Blue Sky in the Delano). Much better than I ever expected!
> danced on “the wall” at the Pink Party! (I would have been standing in the corner before, hoping no one noticed me…)
In line with the Pink Party brag, I brag that there were several loving SGs who helped me at just the right time to get up on “the wall.” When I dared to climb, two SG hands reached out for me – one from above and one from behind. After a few minutes, the SG I was dancing next to saw me look down, planning my escape. She touched my arm and said “Not yet!” About 20 minutes later, we left the wall – together. Such an exhilarating feeling to break through that bond!
I brag that after the Pink Party was over, I stayed on the dance floor!
I brag that SG Camille helped me with my screen name for Sistergoddess.com. She called me “Denver” all weekend – and we modified that to “Denver Hottie”!
I brag that I signed up for Virtual Pleasure Boot Camp 2012 - and shared the desire with my SG friend that we participate in Boot Camp together!
I brag that my handsome husband gave me a sensual massage with aromatherapy oils when I arrived home last night.
I am grateful to find this community of incredible, beautiful, creative women. I have been desiring this kind of community for a very, very long time (without knowing it was a desire) and feel so blessed to know that you are here…and not going anywhere!
I want to share my favorite frame, too. At the Pink Party, the dance floor is filled with SGs. The music plays, a tribal beat for the beautiful tribe of women gathered in Miami. The beat becomes a heartbeat, the heart that beats within each of us and connects us together through love and sisterhood. Truly a sacred experience!
xoxo,
SG Denver Hottie
(SG Gwynne)
3. And the amazing privilege of doing my first-ever class in Copenhagen, where I got to ride the waves of this delicious reverb:
I brag that I’ve practiced pleasure for no reason since the FANTASTIC Mama Gena event in Copenhagen a couple of weeks ago and I FEEL SO Fxxxxxx GOOD even in challenging circumstances. Woooo Hooo!!!!
Instead of running around and focusing on satisfying everyone else’s needs, I’ve prioritized my own needs! Yes, my own needs BEFORE my children’s and my husband’s needs. For instance I went to get a massage on “Holy Family Sunday Time” (!) and when I came home they were all playing and having a great time, and I was just SO relaxed and became part of their joy immediately (before I usually had a guilty conscience if I did something for myself in “family time” and therefore felt “wrong” and outside of the “community” for a while, after having returned, but OH NO, not any more. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!) Now I don’t hesitate if I need to refresh during family time… I just inform my husband that I need some time alone and I go to bed, close my eyes and listen to my favorite guided meditation, and I just feel SO RELAXED AND HAPPY…and all turned on …wraaurrhhhhh…
And they are all so happy and much more relaxed than ever before, both my children and my husband. My children’s reaction is very interesting: They just want to kiss me and hug me and are all around me ALL THE TIME in such a nice way… And my husband… mmmmmmmmmmmmm…so good! We are having SUCH a great time. And my pussy purrs as never before…
I am so happy and feel so FREE! Thank you so much, Mama Gena, for directing me back to my pleasure as MY FIRST PRIORITY! I have broken free from the invisible cage of my mind! I can now step out as THE GODDESS OF FREEDOM I was born to be! Pleasure for no reason = Freedom!
Sister Goddess Sophie
4. And next week…I get to go to San Francisco, to speak at TedxFiDiWomen. And the week after, off to LA, where I will attend a party featuring the work of Sister Goddess Tara, who was so inspired by her experience in Mastery and Inner Circle, that she created a series of gratitude paintings, leading to the creation of Gratitude Designs, which are being launched with a holiday party at Fred Segal. The party will benefit Sister Goddess Janine’s Flawless Foundation, which advocates for, and improves the quality of care for children living with mental health and neurodevelopmental challenges. Janine has often shared that without the tools she learned at the School of Womanly Arts, she never would have started Flawless. She even has Sister Goddesses serving on her board of directors. Can you see how the connective tissue of radiance, sister to sister, is spreading like the most delicious aroma, wafting from one corner of the world to the other? The event takes place on December 8th, and I would love for you to join us. My pal Sheila Kelley will be joining me on the host committee. Please RSVP to rsvp@flawlessfoundation.org.
5. And finally, I am grateful for you. For your sisterhood, for your stand, for your pleasure, for your defiant beauty. I know, deep inside, that in a thousand ways, every day, it is your hand that keeps a dozen fires lit, your radiance that inspires multitudes, and your smile that lights up every corner of the world you inhabit.
This makes me crazy with the goodness of it all.
And fires up the urgency inside my soul.
If we have accomplished this much courage to live unbound, this much intimacy between ourselves and our men, this much delicious relaxed happiness between mothers and children, this much sensuality, this much Sister Goddess Activism, this much Sisterhood, then I cannot wait to see what the next year will bring.
Happy Happy Happy Thanksgiving.
Give me your gratitudes, right here.
I can’t wait to feel your radiance and be inspired.
With so much love and pleasure,
Mama Gena
Do You See Yourself in this Photograph?
Darlings,
I want to share with you the first of our brand-new series of Radio Portraits, here at The School of Womanly Arts.
This is a series of audio interviews describing photographic moments that take place inside the Mastery classroom.
There are some moments in life that have so much power, so much depth, so much beauty, they hover in the air for eternity.
This photograph was one of those moments.
The subject?
My beloved student and friend, Sister Goddess Elvira.
I have known Elvira for ten years, since she flounced into the uptown Pleasure Palace, long mane of chestnut hair flying, to join an early Mama 101 class, a week after it had begun.
She and I have been there, and back together, over the years. Divorces, raising daughters, falling in and out of love.
Elvira is in a whole new place now.
It had been some years since she had crossed the threshold of The School of Womanly Arts. And much had changed.
When she arrived in Miami, I could see that my sister was in a crisis.
And needed an emergency pleasure infusion. She was dressed in what looked like a suit-of-armor version of Miami beachwear.
And I could see that her innate sense of confidence and joy had vanished.
There was one tool that I knew would bring her back to herself, immediately.
A runway….
This portrait illustrates the crossroads every woman faces. We can either choose to be a victim…or a creatrix. The victim is stuck in judging, blaming, and complaining when she doesn’t get what she wants—completely bound. But the creatrix is too busy leaping in the direction of one monumental desire after another. She is living a life unbound.
In one instant, Elvira made the courageous decision to unbind. What gave her that ability? The Sister Goddess Community. Sisterhood is the magical elixir in unbinding yourself and living the life you have longed for.
That is why we created the World Wide Sister Goddess Reunion in Miami. To teach women to celebrate their desires, rather than doubt them, like we are so used to doing. Because when a woman lunges for what she wants, with abandon, it is the ultimate act of goodwill. It takes everyone in her world higher.
Elvira is a force of nature. And so are you. This was her masterpiece. What will be yours? What legendary moment awaits you, in Miami?
With so much love and pleasure,
Mama Gena
P.S. Did you miss last week’s sneak peek of the World Wide Sister Goddess Reunion? Click here to access my tele-class on living A Life Unbound! And remember, every woman who enrolls in the Reunion will get free access to Sistergoddess.com through Nov. 28, so you can start getting unbound on the online forums before you even hit South Beach….
Want a Free Seat at Mastery?
We have a history, here, at The School of Womanly Arts, of Sister Goddess Activism. What is Sister Goddess Activism? When a woman stands for another woman’s pleasure. It began two years ago, with Sister Goddess Melanie. She went completely unbound as a Pleasure Revolutionary, and brought her Mob—a whole row of girlfriends—to the World Wide Sister Goddess Reunion. Last year, I took Sister Goddess Shar to lunch at the Raleigh, with seventeen of the girlfriends she brought to World Wide. These women stood for, and changed the lives of their sisters. I deeply honor them.
So, I want you to give you a fun way to do activism in the way that Sister Goddesses have been doing activism with World Wide for the last 3 years. And make it even more fun and fabulous for you to participate.
This Miami is different from any other Miami. This year we are launching the Unbound Olympics. The woman who brings the most sisters to Miami is the one who has the best chance of winning a free seat at Mastery!!
We have a special Sister Goddess rate of $299 for Miami, if you bring a girlfriend. For every woman you bring to Miami, another entry with your name on it gets put in the pink hat, and at the end of the weekend, I will draw the winner. And yes, I will also take you and your gang to lunch!
So, to join the Unbound Olympics:
1. You must first enroll in World Wide online and then
2. Declare yourself a contender by Monday at 5PM, by clicking the link below. [Sorry, sisters, the deadline for this has passed.]
3. And you must stand for at least one woman who is new to The School of Womanly Arts to attend the World Wide Sister Goddess Reunion in Miami.
The more sisters you bring, the greater your chances to win. You will never be unbound without changing somebody’s life. And the more outrageous you are, the more unbound you become. When we are in Miami, your chances for winning the gold medal will increase with every outrageous act you perform. More details on that to follow at the Reunion.
This is my way of showing my appreciation of Sister Goddess Activism. Thank you for creating the Pleasure Revolution with me. Nothing turns me on more than women standing for women, sisters standing for one another’s pleasure.
I cannot wait to get unbound with you in Miami!
With so much love and pleasure,
Mama Gena
Your Next Step as a Pleasure Researcher
Darlings,
I love a woman with appetite! After all, it’s the most powerful, creative force on earth. Your appetite is your direct-access pipeline to the Goddess within. You are empty without it, abundantly lush with it. And when a woman wants, there is always a way for her to get whatever her heart desires. Money is no object, neither is time or distance. Appetite can move mountains in milliseconds.
Whetting Your Own Appetite is the first and most crucial Womanly Art. Most women were never taught how to recognize their deepest desires. Just as a seed needs soil, sun, and water in order to grow, your appetite requires a support system to really spring to life.
Which is why I want to celebrate your chomp and give you the opportunity to register for a complimentary Pleasure Consultation with one of my gardeners—I mean, enrollers—to determine which of our programs is the best fit for you, at this specific juncture in the legend you are living. Let us assist you in cultivating your field of dreams. Simply click on the “Register Now” link below and enter the appropriate information, and a member of my team will contact you promptly to schedule a convenient time for your over-the-phone, private Pleasure Consultation.
I look forward to fanning the flames of your desires!
With so much love and pleasure,
Mama Gena

A Million Moments in 52 Seconds
Darlings,
There were a million moments I will never forget.
Like a piece of classical music, connecting me to places in my soul which are parts of my invisible architecture. Or, a visit to Stonehenge, the Parthenon, the Pyramids—places in time which have shaped me, but I never inhabited. That is how the last live weekend of Mastery lives within me.
I can hardly believe it was only four months ago that this class poured through the doors of The School of Womanly Arts, nervous, excited, scared, and wondering what was going to happen. Who were all these strange women who were taking the class together? And now, we have a new family of 200 plus Sister Goddesses and a box of Tools and Arts so relevant, so practical, so essential that we can barely get through an hour of our lives, or a decision of our lives, without reaching for a Tool or an Art to give us a leg up.
I mean, I just logged onto Sistergoddess.com this morning, and this is the first brag I read from Sister Goddess Sarah:
I brag that as my husband and I flew into Roanoke, Virginia, and I looked out the window, Roanoke looked different. It isn’t different, but I am. I felt (and feel) different. I’m not a different woman; I am a goddess with clarity.
I brag that now I’m Sarah with glitter, Sarah with a new outlook, Sarah with greater potential for joy and peace.
I brag that as I unpacked my suitcase, rather than putting my fairy goddess skirt back in the attic with my other infrequently worn outfits, I put it in my closet. I wasn’t ready to put it away. The crown …oh, the crown …it’s residing on the top shelf beside my pink tutu where I can see it everyday. It will be a reminder.
A reminder of 5 weekends of confusion, struggle, awakening and beauty.
A reminder of the potential my life is offering.
A reminder of the beauty I have within me.
A reminder to use the tools.
A reminder of my new family of sisterhood.
A reminder of the divine.
A reminder of the goddess I am.
I am grateful for my husband and family.
I am grateful for Mastery.
I am grateful for my BSG Sonia.
I am grateful for my Pod sisters and new goddess sisters.
I am grateful for change and chance.
SG Sarah
See, with Sisterhood like this, we are never alone.
With support like this, we can do anything we dream.
With this kind of cheering section, there is no way we cannot get anything and everything we want.
I want to give you my deepest gratitude for the extraordinary experience that Spring Mastery 2011 has been for me. This was, without a doubt, the best Mastery class, ever. You created so much ravishing beauty for yourselves and each other. It was unforgettable—from Victoria’s song on the courtesan couch, to Merry and Faith’s courage and power, the beach in Miami, Elvira’s sacred dance, the incredible Big Sisters, Dara’s Empire State brag, Dr. Northrup’s powerful commencement address, Team Pleasure, the gorgeous men from Men’s Night and the panel, the sexperts, Camilla’s swamp run, Halie’s prom brag, the Sister Goddess Gospel Choir (featuring Alfa Anderson of the band Chic, who also sang backup on the original studio recording of “We Are Family”), the heart-stopping talent show, oh, I could go on and on and on…
And I will go on. With each of you, living inside me, inspiring me, encouraging me with your marvelous outrageous Pleasure Revolutionary actions, out in the world.
Thank you, thank you, and then, again, thank you.
With so much love and pleasure,
Mama Gena
The Power of One Single Woman to Create a Revolution: YOU
Darlings,
I am an anomaly: a brilliant and serious anthropologist of the profane–The Pleasure Queen, and the extravagantly determined Headmistress of The School of Womanly Arts. And I am also just like every single woman: a life-long student of pleasure. Every day is a new opportunity to research, explore, and investigate what it is that ignites a woman, connects her to her deepest passion, and enables her to live her most closely held desires.
Marie Curie had her Radium. I have Pleasure. Both are nuclear in their global impact. That’s the beauty of pleasure: it is ever expanding. And in the spirit of pleasure research, I want to invite you to participate in one of the grandest experiments of all time, one that is guaranteed to have Sister Goddess Marie Curie rolling over and having a good chuckle in her grave…
What happens when you let loose hundreds of Sister Goddesses and myself, in a ballroom, armed with tiaras, for the purpose of outrageously celebrating each and every glorious inch of ourselves and our lives for no other reason then because we can?
Check out this field report from Sister Goddess Mary…
My sister-in-law Barbara Stanny is the reason I attended graduation last June. She has taken Mastery three times and is an amazing teacher and guest speaker of the course, and she invited me to come experience the magic and wonder of the Sister Goddess community firsthand.
I love the confidence Barbara possesses, and I really love how happy my brother is right now. I have never seen him this happy in a relationship! So even though I live in Portland, Oregon, and knew it would be a huge commitment with all the cross-country flying, I simply had to have a taste of the Mastery curriculum that Barbara had always hinted about…
Seeing Mama Gena make her entrance at graduation in her pink, sequined dress was unforgettable. The energy was intoxicating! Watching over 200 women swagger into the room took my breath away! They were beautiful and sexy and having so much fun, and I wanted what they had!
I remember hearing Mama Gena’s creative partner, Dr. Anne Davin, speak with such presence and vitality that I wondered where she got all of that confidence. I watched as guests told Mama Gena about how their mother, sister, or friend had completely transformed her life, and now they wanted to take Mastery, too. And when I heard Dr. Christiane Northrup deliver her commencement speech, I was mesmerized by her inner glow and inspired by the journey she and both of her daughters had taken at The School of Womanly Arts. I even had the incredible thrill of meeting Dr. Northrup, after having been an avid fan who read all of her books and listened to her radio show every week. By the end of the ceremony, I couldn’t get to the back of the room fast enough to sign up! I knew without a doubt that this was the next step for me, and I decided to say YES! And when I returned home, I told everyone I knew about my experience…
A year has passed, and now I am preparing to graduate as one of those beautiful, sexy women having so much fun! My capacity for loving myself has completely transformed. Before I took Mastery, I understood the concept of “self-love” in my mind, but I had never experienced it at such a deep, cellular level. I have such profound respect for myself now. I have taken self-love from my head to my heart and into my spirit, and it all began one year ago at graduation! And I have much more to learn and practice with my Sister Goddesses; this is yet another new beginning!
If you are considering attending graduation, I invite you to experiment and go and see if it’s a fit for you. I think every woman on the planet could benefit from saying YES. Hope to see you there…
-SG Mary
Whether you’re a seasoned Sister Goddess or brand new to The School of Womanly Arts, graduation is an opportunity to honor every facet of yourself and forge new inroads into your pleasure research.
We have extended our RSVP deadline, so click here to register today!
Who knows what awaits you, should you choose to experiment…
With so much love and pleasure,

A Mission for Sister Goddess Activists Everywhere
Darlings,
This is my ninth Womanly Arts Mastery Program!
I have had the privilege of reacquainting hundreds upon hundreds of women with the most delicious, divine part of themselves for 13 years now.
In all these years, every woman who has taken my class has gotten there the same way: a woman in the world stood for her.
In the beginning, it was me, one woman, standing for women. Then my graduates, who had been inspired and ignited by the experience of the class, began to stand, alongside me, for the women in their lives. They began to bring their friends, their sisters, their moms, their aunts, their cousins, their co-workers. This thrills me, overwhelms me, delights me, and makes my soul soar. My stand for women is eternal.
My desire to see women stand for one another is taking wing. Sister Goddess Activism is what it means to be on the front lines of the Pleasure Revolution; because of you, me, all of us, women’s lives are forever changed. We all have an eternal stand for the women of this world to dance with every facet of themselves–right here, right now–in our lifetime.
I created The School of Womanly Arts for my daughter, Maggie. And it is my own mother, Bebe, who elegantly holds space for the Mastery students, every weekend. So I have a soft spot for the mamas and daughters of Mastery.
Can you imagine? Mothers, swelling with pride at the sight of their own creations unfolding. Daughters, honoring the women who most profoundly shaped their lives.
Check out SG Marie aka Glamour Puss, whose mother is traveling to graduation all the way from Denmark!
I knew from the very beginning that it was important to me that my mum, Rete, attend graduation. I want her to be a part of this, a part of my new life, so to speak. I have a hard time explaining to people what I’ve learned at Mama Gena’s and why it has changed my life, although my mum has always been very intrigued. I’ve bought all my good girlfriends Mama Gena’s books but knew that my mother had to be there in person to understand, and my wish is that she will return to Denmark with some of the magic that has entered my life.
I have a very devoted mother, so it didn’t take more than me telling her that it would mean the world to me if she attended. That is one of the things Mama Gena has taught me – you first have to ask for what you want! I’m so grateful and proud that my mother is the kind of woman who loves her child so much that without question she would travel across the globe to participate in something she knows is important to me. She is taking a huge stand for me just by attending, and it is a privilege for me to able to stand for her blossoming as a Sister Goddess. This will be my mother’s first visit to New York City, and I know for sure she has never experienced anything like this!
Although I haven’t told my mum that much about the course in detail, she can tell that I have changed and that I am much more thrilled about my life, and honestly that’s all a mother really cares about at the end of the day. She just wants to see me smile, to hear me laugh, and for me to feel good in my own skin—after all, she is the one who created me! And I am most looking forward to her witnessing the power of sisterhood and what happens to a woman’s life when she makes pleasure her guiding force. Who knows what it will lead to! It would be a dream if she were to gather her girlfriends back in Denmark and tell them all about it!
I have the utmost respect for both of my mamas, and I know that my mother will see, hear, feel, and experience exactly what she needs to at graduation. She is my mother, but it’s her journey, and I know Mama Gena will work her magic and have a deep impact on my mother’s life.
-SG Glamour Puss
Could it be any sweeter? SG Glamour Puss told her mother it would mean the world to her to have her at graduation, and now her mother is literally traveling the world to share this experience with her.
I cannot wait to celebrate them. And you. Graduation is for any woman who wants to feel each and every cell in her body ignited by the privilege that it is to be her. And if you really want to soar, bring a sister, a girlfriend, or your mom with you! Registration closes Monday, June 13th, so click here to RSVP!
With so much love and pleasure,
Mama Gena
There Are These Things I Get to See
Darlings,
There are these things I get to see.
That I am so spilling-out-my-guts grateful for that sometimes I think I might implode.
Implode is different from explode.
Explode is from the Latin explodere which means “to drive out by clapping.” Ex (“out”)- plodere (“to clap”).
And by implication, implode is to drive in by clapping.
Which is how I feel during a Mastery weekend.
I feel like I have an entire Madison Square Garden full of cells rising to their feet and going insane with joy in standing ovation after ovation at all I get to see, experience, and co-create.
There is this certain kind of emotion that gets produced at The School of Womanly Arts that happens nowhere else on the planet.
And surges through this sisterhood with a suck and slurp the way a thirsty 5,000-year-old sponge drinks in water.
And it feels like this:
Relief.
Joy that makes you lightheaded.
Tears that beat against the back of your eyeballs.
Heart-pounding ecstasy, like when Secretariat ran faster than any horse ever because of love and, why not?
And a deep knowing that all you ever longed for is not only possible but on its way to you.
Which makes you sweat. (Which is why I am often sleeveless at Mastery.)
Women have so much experience—in this world—settling. Compromising. Never getting theirs. Wounding. Sacrifice. Despair.
And Mastery is a celestial ball gown of light fantastic, where all of a woman’s compromise reweaves itself into a crown of splendor.
Let me weave you a tiny tale.
Sister Goddess Merry, who is worthy of more words than I am giving her at this moment, made her way to Mastery, by hook, crook, and sheer determination.
A breathtaking testimony to her power as a woman. Yet this power remained elusive to Merry.
By the fourth weekend of Mastery, each woman has the opportunity to come to class dressed as if she were a courtesan.
For those of you who have not taken Mastery yet, give this some thought for a moment…what would you wear?
Tacky or elegant? Wispy or down to the ground?
This exercise places a woman inside the heart of her relationship to her sensuality, and Merry chose to be a vision of 16th-century beauty and 21st-century sizzle.
But, like most of us, she had no idea of how to apprehend this aspect of herself, and only saw what was missing and what she lacked, as she regarded herself.
Until Weekend Four.
Where she was pressed into not only living her beauty and power, but demonstrating it, in front of a room full of over 200 women.
(Through a series of exercises and experiences that I am unable to deliver the content of, here.)
The result was this: Merry changed her mind about who she was.
And not because some handsome prince galloped in to awaken her.
Because she chose to awaken herself. And there was never a sight so incandescently beautiful as Sister Goddess Merry, catching her first authentic glimpse of herself.
To see a woman experience her pleasure is to see her live her sacredness.
There has been no spiritual home for woman, and no sensual home for woman, on this planet, for the last 5,000 years.
And participating in breathing all of this back into real life, in real time, is a caper as wild, woolly, and dangerous as SEAL Team Six.
I want you to feel this feeling.
I want you to awaken the smoldering embers of your sensual spirit, and burst into your flaming, eternal beauty.
I want you to feel the relief, the joy that makes you lightheaded, the tears that beat against the back of your eyeballs, the heart-pounding ecstasy, and a deep knowing that all you ever longed for is not only possible but on its way to you.
Come join me for the Graduation Celebration of The School of Womanly Arts Mastery Program, Spring 2011 and implode with me.
With so much love and pleasure,
Mama Gena
A Peek Inside Mastery
Darlings,
This is it.
The month that Persephone crawls back from the underworld and relaxes into spring.
The time of year when you don’t know whether to wear your down jacket or a t-shirt.
When we all are yearning and itching for that transformation–body antsy with desire, ripples of longing crossing our souls, hot hunger fighting with the damp weather that just won’t give it up…yet.
Take that temperature and you have the confluence of forces churning through the extraordinary sea of women at The School of Womanly Arts Mastery Program, this past week.
Here’s what took place: Friday night we had the largest clothing swap on earth, complete with stylists, makeup artists, and hairdressers. Everyone went home with gorgeous stuff!
Saturday we swamped.
We saw how we could choose to step into the darkest feelings of being lonely, scared, and disenfranchised, and own the raw beauty in this dark face of the Goddess.
When a woman falls rapturously in love with her dark side, she unites with the most beautiful and powerful part of herself, and alters her destiny. It is the inhabiting of our own darkness that is the key to bringing in the light. The darkest part, of each of us, is delicious.
We were formally introduced to the concept of the Courtesan, and how to navigate the realm of the Courtesan’s Journey, as a tool. By so doing, we each have the opportunity to relocate ourselves from victim to heroine, by bringing the fire, passion, and sensuality in each of us, into every aspect of our lives and the world. We learned that by using the Courtesan’s Journey as a tool, we can turn our hardships into our very own magical elixir. Not bad for a day’s work.
Sunday, we had Barbara Stanny teach us how to take ownership of our finances.
And Alex Tchassov brought the art of ballroom dance.
And so so so so much more.
My gratitude to those of you who are with me, in the Mastery classroom, and those of you, without.
I am so deeply grateful to each of you, for your courage and brilliance as you gain momentum, each day, in the use of the School of Womanly Arts Tools and the Arts. And my deep gratitude to those of you who stand for us, witnessing us, as we surrender deeper and deeper to the journey called woman at The School of Womanly Arts Mastery Program. I know, I know, each of us takes a few steps forward, then, tumbles. Baby steps toward pleasure are the way a mere mortal becomes a Sister Goddess. Here’s to many more tumbles, and triumphs, ’til we meet again!
With so much love and pleasure,
Mama Gena
P.S. Please come celebrate graduation with us, June 19, 2011, 2:00pm at Hotel Pennsylvania, NYC.
P.P.S. Next week we are off to Miami. I am sure I will send some brags from South Beach!
