My sister-in-law Barbara Stanny is the reason I attended graduation last June. She has taken Mastery three times and is an amazing teacher and guest speaker of the course, and she invited me to come experience the magic and wonder of the Sister Goddess community firsthand.

I love the confidence Barbara possesses, and I really love how happy my brother is right now. I have never seen him this happy in a relationship! I even had the incredible thrill of meeting Dr. Northrup, after having been an avid fan who read all of her books and listened to her radio show every week. By the end of the ceremony, I couldn’t get to the back of the room fast enough to sign up!  I knew without a doubt that this was the next step for me, and I decided to say YES! And when I returned home, I told everyone I knew about my experience…

A year has passed, and now I am preparing to graduate as one of those beautiful, sexy women having so much fun! My capacity for loving myself has completely transformed. Before I took Mastery, I understood the concept of “self-love” in my mind, but I had never experienced it at such a deep, cellular level. I have such profound respect for myself now. I have taken self-love from my head to my heart and into my spirit, and it all began one year ago at graduation! And I have much more to learn and practice with my Sister Goddesses; this is yet another new beginning!

Tuesday In My Living Room

So.  Last Tuesday, a bunch of my Inner Circle gang spilled into my living room for the lunchtime Q&A call, just like every other odd Tuesday.

I love these lunch hours.

We hang out in my loft, and have a chance to go really deep and really personal with the women in the room, and the women who connect with us on iLinc.  Some as far away as the UK!

The intimacy is indescribable. The laughs—ridiculous. The scope of our love—inexhaustible.

The week before, we had an event at my house, and the topic was Man-Training. We had some crazy, hot, live, interactive demonstrations with men who had flown in from everywhere to be on this panel.

April is Man-Training Month in Inner Circle, and my special guest was the incredible David Deida.

May is Sensuality Month with visits from the Drs. Bodansky and Sheri Winston.

June is Hexing and Money Month with Barbara Stanny.

July is a wild card, yet to be revealed…

A Peek Inside Mastery

Darlings,

This is it.

The month that Persephone crawls back from the underworld and relaxes into spring.
The time of year when you don’t know whether to wear your down jacket or a t-shirt.
When we all are yearning and itching for that transformation–body antsy with desire, ripples of longing crossing our souls, hot hunger fighting with the damp weather that just won’t give it up…yet.

Take that temperature and you have the confluence of forces churning through the extraordinary sea of women at The School of Womanly Arts Mastery Program, this past week.

Here’s what took place: Friday night we had the largest clothing swap on earth, complete with stylists, makeup artists, and hairdressers.  Everyone went home with gorgeous stuff!

Saturday we swamped.

We saw how we could choose to step into the darkest feelings of being lonely, scared, and disenfranchised, and own the raw beauty in this dark face of the Goddess.

When a woman falls rapturously in love with her dark side, she unites with the most beautiful and powerful part of herself, and alters her destiny. It is the inhabiting of our own darkness that is the key to bringing in the light. The darkest part, of each of us, is delicious.

We were formally introduced to the concept of the Courtesan, and how to navigate the realm of the Courtesan’s Journey, as a tool.  By so doing, we each have the opportunity to relocate ourselves from victim to heroine, by bringing the fire, passion, and sensuality in each of us, into every aspect of our lives and the world.  We learned that by using the Courtesan’s Journey as a tool, we can turn our hardships into our very own magical elixir.  Not bad for a day’s work.

Sunday, we had Barbara Stanny teach us how to take ownership of our finances.

And Alex Tchassov brought the art of ballroom dance.

And so so so so much more.

My gratitude to those of you who are with me, in the Mastery classroom, and those of you, without.

I am so deeply grateful to each of you, for your courage and brilliance as you gain momentum, each day, in the use of the School of Womanly Arts Tools and the Arts. And my deep gratitude to those of you who stand for us, witnessing us, as we surrender deeper and deeper to the journey called woman at The School of Womanly Arts Mastery Program.  I know, I know, each of us takes a few steps forward, then, tumbles.  Baby steps toward pleasure are the way a mere mortal becomes a Sister Goddess.  Here’s to many more tumbles, and triumphs, ’til we meet again!

It Takes A Village

It takes a village.
All women know the truth of that.
Hilary Clinton coined this phrase when she spoke of raising of a child- and I’ve found that the same applies in raising a woman.
Yes, raising.
Raising her orbit.
Raising her income.
Raising her hopes.
Raising her expections.
Raising her eyesight, her imagination, her reach.
The Womanly Arts Mastery Program was designed intentionally to surround and support a woman as she lives in the action of creating her desires.
And it takes a village. From the women in the class- the Sister Goddess Community- to the incredible Guest Teachers I bring in- who are all pioneers in their fields- to the 30+volunteers who help produce the event- to the Big Sister Goddesses- grads who lead a group of Sister Goddesses throughout the 6 month process. There are calls, an online community, homework and tools and arts to guide and inform the unfolding process. A village. Primitive. Wild. Indigenous. And perfect.
I don’t know a more powerful village/tribe for women on this planet.

SG Yaf is an incredible example of a woman being raised by a village. How else does a woman go from bankruptcy to six figures, and creating her own foundation?

I started Mastery in the spring of 2008, two years after incurring over $50,000 in debt from my ex and filing for a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. I had just been audited by the IRS, who were demanding tens of thousands of dollars from me, and I felt burdened by the shame and guilt of that debt.

I remember our first “swamp” exercise in Mastery, when we learned to powerfully embrace our dark feelings. I felt a ton of bricks lifted from my shoulders. And the liberation continued throughout that first weekend of Mastery. My journey toward financial recovery had begun!

I actually learned to get into agreement with my bankruptcy and realize what a genius I was for creating my debt, so that I could then create financial empowerment. Learning to swamp allowed me to release my shame and own my creative power. These moves saved my life! I was anew! Bills to pay—yes! But no more fear of interest and collection calls.

Mastery also gave me access to an array of pioneering guest speakers: leaders in the fields of women and money, sensuality, health and love. Without Mastery, I might never have met Barbara Stanny, a.k.a. The Money Goddess! This magnificent woman taught us about the relationship between pleasure and finances and the true meaning of financial empowerment. It was through exposure to her work with six-figure women that I realized I wanted to become one myself!!!!

Throughout Mastery, I benefitted not only from the work of Mama and her guest speakers, but also from the example of so many other powerful and successful women around me who were creating wonderful lives. During graduation, SG Ruth revealed that she used the tools of Spring Cleaning and partying with money to increase abundance into her life! I immediately spring cleaned for 30 days on money, and it has since become nearly a daily practice. My relationship with money flourished as I began to consciously honor it.

But I was still working long hours with little savings and desiring a better job that I did not believe I could have. SG Alice would lovingly tease, Sure, stay there and keep working for nothing! It hurt but I knew she was right. So one day I decided to organize my very first Jewelry Trunk Show! The support of my sisters was overwhelmingly beautiful. Seeing their belief in me ignited my desire for greatness, no matter what it took! I walked from 47th St down to SoHo repeating my “womantra,” I believe in myself! I am enough!!! Having a successful event showed me my own power. I could now submit my resignation. I asked my Sister Goddesses to send their juice! I knew my sisters were there for me, so what was the worst thing that could happen? I was done working for nothing and having no life!!!

When I told my boss I was resigning, he offered to double my salary! Because I was standing for my value and my abilities, I didn’t even have to ask for it! I decided to continue with the company and become a six-figure woman! And it was the Womanly Arts and the work of another guest speaker that Mama brought in, Jill Rogers, that helped me to see my boss as more than just a boss. Her Seven Sacred Steps of Extraordinary Loving have altered my life.

Yet once again, I still felt unhappy. I felt I had to choose between time and money! But Mama had taught me well; I wanted to go from good to great! I kept up with the spring cleaning and decided to become a licensed real estate agent. This was a way to test my skills in a different arena that I felt might be able to provide me with time AND money. And I wanted to spend a lot of my time with a special someone…

At the end of my first Mastery I met a man that I really liked. He lived outside the US so time was truly of the essence. Armed with renewed strength and confidence, six months after I had been offered a higher salary, I visited my boss and resigned again (my favorite new negotiating tool). I thanked him for the opportunity to work with him for so many years and acknowledged him for all the gifts he had given me.

I brag that he offered I become a share partner in the company and earn ten percent of the annual sales with a guaranteed minimum earning in the six figures. The possibilities here are endless!

I brag that in 2010 I took eight weeks off PAID, and on October 1st, 2010, I married the love of my life- you guessed it, the same man I met at the end of Mastery in September 2008.

I further brag that I am the founder of ASB Foundation, named after my father, Amette Saloum Boye, and our website just went live a few days ago. This foundation supports the children of lepers in Koutal, Senegal by giving them the gift of being kids. This is a dream-come-true for me, as I desire to make millions, save millions, invest millions, and give millions!

I have no doubt in my mind that without the tools, incredible teachers, and women I met in Mastery, that none of this would have happened.

Does Your Money Bring You Pleasure?

Try this…check the statements that apply to you:

• I often give away my services (volunteering, working more hours than I’m actually paid, etc.).
• It’s so hard to ask for a raise (or to raise my fees) that I just don’t do it.
• I work very, very hard (long hours, multiple jobs), or I go to excess and then collapse.
• I fill my free time with endless chores and tasks.
• I am in debt, with little savings, and no idea where my money is going.
• I am vague about my earnings (overestimate or underestimate my income; see gross, not net).

If you marked more than two, chances are you’re an underearner. (Underearner: noun –anyone who needs or desires to earn more, but can’t, despite her efforts to do otherwise.)

I know. I know. No one wants to hear they’re an underearner. But here’s the good news. You don’t have to stay an underearner.

Hi Love!

Funny thing: I was thinking about you and your great smile while on vacation and when I got home, the card that I wrote in class 6 months ago was in the mail! WOW

In six months, I will have sold a minimum of 8 homes…DONE! I have sold 15!

I will feel at ease in my financial situation…DONE! I have paid off all debt, including my car, and have over six figures saved!

I will become more flexible…DONE! I have worked my fitness program like a champ and can almost touch my toes — which is HUGE for me!

Bill will have great success with his magazine…DONE! He is on his fourth issue and everyone loves it. This is his second full-time job aside from his military job!

I will love myself more then ever…DONE! I have had the best time in Vegas living and loving life…Going out with girlfriends, laughing, flirting, and taking myself and others around me higher!
