It’s unfortunate that in our culture, we are so repressed about sex, so that classes like this are more the anomaly than the norm. I have to say, I’ve had the pleasure of sessions with Vera & Steve, and also other teachers who are offshoots of the same technique (being a pleasure researcher, I had no idea, and was very curious to learn more). One thing that remains constant is that a woman in this heightened state, where she surrenders to her pleasure is one of the most magnetic forces on the planet!!! When one witnesses this – it’s a shift, and something quite infectious in the very best of ways.

It took a session for me to give myself permission to receive and get past some of the boundaries that I had set. And once I did, it was access to a higher level of pleasure than ever experienced. I have the distinct pleasure of being involved with a man who is also trained in these techniques (from books) and together we have something incredible we describe as sextasy! The Bodanskys also have books which may be a good start to read and work your way

I agree that too often we are in the comparision of I’m not like X, when the joys in life is I AM X and just reveling in our own beauty, uniqueness, orgasm and whatever else brings us pleasure …

Looks like we hit a nerve with this one- pardon the pun!
I want to acknowledge and thank all the Sisters who responded- it demonstrates a belief I have that the heart of feminist/ feminine Sisterhood calls us to a place of courage where we get to learn from what’s different— so that nothing’s assumed or judged from a place of fear nor silenced from a place of not wanting to rock the boat.

What I get is that the difference between any of us living diminished or potent lives is not about what practices we engage in or where our juice comes from– it’s about the commitment to grow, and the willingness to honor all women in making choices that are right for them, and in being conscious about how we communicate our truths– something Mama models with her love and intention.

Before taking the classes, I may have responded from my own existing filters (not saying you are), but after having the power and the depth of the
entire program meet me where I was (which was evolved yet coachable) I get in my “soul” that the Pleasure Revolution is a Pleasure Involution first. Therefore, anything suggested here or the LOVING community of sister goddesses is a tool to add to our pleasure chest and each woman gets to choose how, when or what tool serves her in that moment or season. It’s like ordering from a menu and I like that this one as so many delicious and potent ingredients that supercharge every area of my life.

I do agree that there are many sources for exaltation and self-actualization. And they do evolve as we grow older, the pleasures are more refined, more varied and deeper, we get more out of life. However – sex is a great starting place, since so many of us put others – and service to others – to the pedestal. That would be ok if we did not forget self care, and work ourselves to exhaustion, burning out far before our time. And in that, I believe, lies the value of focusing on Pussy, and pleasure. It is the easiest gate to our core, the most sensitive to find, and if we are really and truly focused on life outside us we need a path to ourselves that we can find easily. We need to worship our bodies to be able to do more for others, but HOW??? Many are in deep despair, hearing the words and having no idea what to DO next. It could be that some get stuck and stay in bed self-pleasuring forever , but I have never seen any .- the womanly art of being good and helpful and caring and going to war for things that we believe in kicks in.
