Let me confess something to you, my love.
Right now, as I write this, I am in the middle of a motherfucking sprint. Massive things are happening in my world, bigger than I can fully tell you yet. (One of the biggest lands on June 24, and you will be the very first to know. I promise.)
And a few weeks ago, staring down the whole magnificent, terrifying pile of it, I asked myself the only question that mattered: how on earth am I going to sustain this?Â
How does a woman survive a season this big without burning herself to the ground?
The answer came back fast, and it came back clear. Pleasure.
So I made a vow. A daily orgasm practice, no matter what. Even on the mornings I did not feel like it. Especially on the mornings I did not feel like it. Not as a treat. Not as a reward for finishing my to-do list. As the engine. As the fuel. As the very thing that would carry me.
And guess what, Sister?
I am moving mountains.
Here is what I know, after more than three decades of this work: you cannot build your resilience in the middle of the emergency. You build it before, and you build it daily, on the ordinary mornings when nothing is on fire. You practice turning toward your own aliveness as a discipline, so that when life asks everything of you, your body already knows the way home.
And this is not woo. This is biology.
When you come, cortisol drops. Your parasympathetic nervous system takes the wheel. Pain decreases, immunity rises, creativity surges, perspective returns. The body remembers itself, and the soul becomes audible again. Pleasure is not decoration on a good life. She is survival technology. She is how I metabolize a hard season instead of drowning in it.
Pleasure is not the reward for a good day. She is the training for a hard one.
The women who move through the biggest seasons of their lives with the most grace are not the ones who got lucky. They are not the ones who waited until they felt like it. They are the ones who had the practice in their body before they needed it, who kept the vow on the boring days, who showed up even when the feeling was gone, and discovered that the feeling comes back when you show up for it.
That is how you move mountains, my love. Not by waiting to feel ready. By practicing until ready is simply who you are.
With so much love and pleasure,

P.S. This is the entire reason I created my Self-Pleasure Sovereignty Series. Six guided stroking meditations to take command of your turn-on today. It is designed to help you build the practice, in your body, at a moment’s notice, so that when your own big season comes, you are well-schooled and well-versed in your own resilience. It’s free and waiting for you here.
