I admit, I am late to some games, early to others.
I guess we all are.
But there is a thing I trust with my body, heart, and soul.
In fact, I have staked my life on this premise (and have never been misdirected).
That the power of my desire, the power of my pussy truth, is such a strong and powerful force, that – if I listen, and surrender – she will inevitably and irrevocably lead me to my dreams.
Almost whether I like it or not.
I am a woman who lives this truth every day of her life. I make my living from the power of my pussy. I set hundreds of thousands of pussies free to live their dreams and desires.
This magic is for reals.
Earlier this month, my boyfriend and I went to Hawaii.
I had heard, as I am sure you have too, that it is an incredible place.
It was even more incredible, magical, transportive than I could have imagined, or that I could even express here.
We had hundreds of ravishing experiences every single day, from the fragrance of the night blooming jasmine, the warmth and grace of the people who live there, and do not even get me started on the volcanos…
But there is an adventure, and a woman I want to tell you about most. Her name is Mirabai.
She takes people to swim with the wild dolphins in Hawaii. And while on her small boat in Kona, heading to the places we might be lucky enough to see these creatures, she told me a story. It was the story of desire. The desire that awakened her. She was living in England, and was asked to help film a documentary about a single dolphin living off the coast. When she went with the filmmaker and encountered the dolphin, it changed her life. Why? How? One look in the dolphin’s eyes, and she understood that it was all about love, that the whole universe is made of love. And the dolphin was there to teach her, and everyone who encountered him, that message.
The experience changed her life.
Mirabai moved to Hawaii, following her calling, and began taking people to swim with the wild dolphins, the manta rays, and the whales.
I do not have much experience with the world under the sea.
I live in New York. I saw Jaws. I love swimming in the ocean but I stay close to the shore. So, on first sight of a school of wild dolphins, I am both thrilled and scared. I gulp, and jump into the ocean with our small group. The dolphins start to swim by. It is beautiful. Oh, and did I say terrifying? Beautiful and terrifying.
We climb back on the boat, in pursuit of another school of dolphins. The captain uses his intuition and experience to guide us to the next run of dolphins. We spot these magnificent creatures, leaping up and out of the sea, cavorting towards us. In we go, again. This time, I am snorkeling near Mirabai. The dolphins approach. She reaches out her hand, and draws me close. We link arms.
My body relaxes in her presence. And I get the transmission.
Through her openness, her stand, her connection, I am able to find mine. The dolphins circle all around us. They swim from below, from behind, in front. There are moms and babies. Some of them are swimming on their backs. And when I look into their eyes, and feel into them, I get it.
The whole universe is made of love.
They love us. They want to connect, to play.
And what have we done to them? Destroyed their environment, killed them senselessly, taken them into captivity for profit. And yet, and still, they love us.
I want to cry. But it’s bigger than that. I feel awed, grateful, enlightened.
We get the chance to encounter another school. We jump in. This time, I am in ecstasy. Thrilled, enlivened, honored, open.
The boat travels further, and we swim with manta rays. These guys are slow, big, peaceful, black angels. I am enchanted. Back on the boat, our captain takes us further out to see humpback whales. These gods of the sea are so….sweet. Fun. Playful. Loving. They ‘wave’ at us, they leap in the air. All 40 feet, 70,000 pounds of them. I am a delirious fangirl, waving back to them like I was front row at a Beyoncé concert.
The impact of this experience was, and is, monumental.
I had no idea that the ocean is filled with love.
I had no idea that all this love wants is to play with me, with you, with all of us.
The first thing I did when I got home was donate to an environmental protection organization.
My consciousness has been immeasurably raised.
And I can feel the difference in every aspect of my life, including my relationship with my man. Fear has been replaced with love.
And all of this can be traced back to one moment in another woman’s life.
The moment that Mirabai said yes to her desires, yes to her calling. If she had backed away, denied her truth, or decided she couldn’t, I never would have had the experience that I had. I am so grateful to her.
Women give life. Women create. Women desire.
In every woman’s lifetime, there is a calling (or two or three or four). A passion that awakens her, and others.
Be on the lookout for yours.
And when it happens, run towards it – as if your life depended on it.
When you choose to live your most deeply held dreams and desires, it opens the doorway for everyone you encounter to be inspired to live theirs.
This world needs awakening. And your desires are not just your pathway to fulfillment, but they are the pathway for all of us.
With love,
